Thank you for sponsoring the New River Quest. This event is operated by a number of canoe enthusiasts and volunteers with the common goal of developing the sport in northern Belize with potential to encourage and spark new interest in youth.

The race is a two-day multi-craft paddle event whereby any paddle craft can enter (kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards).  Currently only our Belizean standardized 20ft canoes class with two persons is categorized since it’s most popular among our paddlers. The Race commences at the Hill Bank Field Station, traversing the New River Lagoon and New River with an over night in Orange Walk Town and continues by exiting the New River into the Caribbean Sea for the finish at Corozal Town. The event is scheduled for the Pan-American Holiday Weekend (Sat-Sun) in October.

The race carries operational and logistical financial costs which are kept to a minimum. We humbly ask your financial support in order to have a successful race .

Various levels of available sponsorship are briefly described below:

1   Event Name / Title Sponsor: This sponsorship option is the highest honor and the event will carry the name “[YOUR NAME HERE] New River Quest”.  The overall championship trophy is named with your “[YOUR NAME HERE] New River Quest”. Your company’s Logo or Brand Logo will be incorporated as a component of the race logo for the duration of sponsorship.  One of the main benefits as a title sponsor is a prime branding opportunity, that allows your company’s name and logo to become synonymous with a premier sporting event. This also carries other benefits. Please contact us early to to guarantee maximum exposure for your sponsorship.

2   Presenting Sponsor: This sponsor is the second tier sponsorship. The sponsor will have their name as “presented by” on all print, digital and advertising mediums along with other benefits.  The event will be called “[EVENT NAME SPONSOR] New River Quest presented by [YOUR NAME HERE]”.  Please contact us early to to guarantee maximum exposure for your sponsorship.

3   Time Keeping Sponsor: This will be the first professionally timed event in Belize using a timing system. Your company’s exposure will be heralded whenever timing is mentioned. Your company’s logo will be displayed on the official results page.

4   Iron Paddler:  This sponsorship option offers a booth at the various stop locations to promote and advertise your company and you’ll have exclusivity on your product sales.

5   Hotshot Paddler: Your company will be allowed to set up a booth at the various stop locations to promote and advertise your company and you’ll be the official [type of service] company for the race.

6   Kick Start Paddler: Your company will be allowed to set up a booth at the various stop locations to promote and advertise your company.

Although each company’s needs may be different, we’ll be happy discuss a customized package for you.

ALL SPONSORS

• Proportionately sized logos (related to sponsorship level), will be placed on a printed finish banner, t-shirts and posters.
• Logos will be placed on our website linking to your desired internet presence.
• Provided the opportunity to have a representative at the award ceremony to assist with award presentations.
• Can submit a brochure, pamphlet, business card, coupons or any other promotional material to be distributed as part of the registration package.
• Can provide a banner to be displayed.
